When you don't want to install repeater hubs, use the IRP-6 IRP repeater kit instead. This plasma-proof IR repeater is dual frequency with 2 triple-eye emitters that will control 6 different devices. You'll be able to easily "repeat" your remote control commands to A/V receivers, DVR set-top boxes, DVD players and other audio and video components that are inside closed cabinets. This infrared remote repeater kit is universal and will work with all DVR set-top boxes, CCTV, CATV, IPTV and A/V receivers. Outdoor Speaker Depot is the only manufacturer that does this without using a connecting block, so you don't have to install and hide a hub. Set-up is easy.
As with our entire IR kit line of products, the outer jacket is CL-rated for in-wall installation. It's designed to last for years with durable yet flexible construction. For the best IR extender and IR repeater systems, you can rely on Outdoor Speaker Depot.
• Operate up to six devices behind closed cabinet doors
• Works with all brands and compatible with 38kHz-56kHz A/V devices such as ATT-Uverse and Scientific Atlanta STBs
• 9-ft receiver lead from the hub has excellent IR receiving range
• IR filtering technology blocks out interference from IRI, CFL, ESI, EMI, plasma TVs, and the sun • Simple installation and expandable
• Attaches to any flat surface with 3M adhesive
Expand your IR emiiters! The IRP Kit can extend the emitters with either a 12 or 25 foot IR Emitter extension cable for additional installation flexibility!

Simple and fast hook up. Works with my plasma. Only using 3 of the 6 so far. -- Had a problem with some devices where the IR receiver on them is not obvious or designated. -- Needed to move some transmitters around to find "sweet spot" for the IR receiver so don't stick the transmitters on "firm" if you plan on moving it. -- Close the your doors over your devices to make sure your not getting "splash" from your IR remote while finding the sweet spot.
Pros:Simple hook up. Cost for performance is great.
Cons:None so far.
Best Uses:Used on DVD players, cable TV tuners, and DVR's
