I have an outdoor speaker system that consists of 6 Bose 151 outdoor speakers. The speaker wires run from a receiver inside the house. Two of the speakers on the lower deck have a speaker wire run of about 50-60 feet. These 2 speakers don't seem to have the volume of the others. My question is: Will this amplifier set-up allow me to increase the volume/power to the two distant speakers by splicing it into the speaker wires and thus pushing more power to the two speakers in question? I understand that I must also use the impedance matching volume control.

Hi Bob:
The only solution I can suggest is our AMP200 which features both Hi and Low level input. You can splice into the speaker wires for the lower deck utilizing the High (Speaker) level inputs. You would not need a volume control since the amp has one built in. It does give you an additional source input allowing you to plug an iPod/iPad or other MP3 source to play over the lower deck speakers as well. You will need to have location for the amp to protect it from the elements. The problem with the A0240 80 Watt Amplifier it needs to be connected to low level per-amplified signal.
