By Customer Service - Q&A on October 3, 2011

Can the transmitter support more than 2, more than 3?
By Customer Service - Q&A on October 19, 2011
Answer:
The system features a single stereo speaker that has a switch so you can add a second speaker to create a left and right stereo separation. You can add multiple speakers while using a common transmitter. Unfortunately we do not sell the speakers separately so you will have an extra transmitter for each speaker you add. The transmitter can accommodate up to three speakers as long as they are all within the 150 foot range.By Craig from Phoenix, AZ on October 29, 2011

Is the speaker able to get wet? Is it ok to leave outdoors at all times, or should it not be left outside in the rain?
By Customer Service - Q&A on April 3, 2012
Answer:
Tom,
This speaker is weather resistant so it can be left out in the rain, essentially, but keep in mind any protection you can give your outdoor speakers are great for their longevity
CLBy Customer Service - Q&A on April 3, 2012
Answer:
Hi Tom:
There is a warning in the Owners Manual:
From Manufacturer...
This product is water-resistant, not weatherproof. Avoid prolonged exposure to wet enviroment, such as rain, mist, dew etc. In other words, you can take it out , just don't leave it out. To avoid electrical shock, use this product with caution near water sources if powered with the AC Adaptor. Never submerge in water.By Scott from houston, tx on February 5, 2012
How can I get speaker to play off of Blu-Ray DVD player? I have hooked up and it only plays radio - will not play iPod, TV or movies. Have tried hooking up to AV input on DVD player and as portable input from RCA cable and still will only play radio, even when TV is on and playing.
By Customer Service - Q&A on February 6, 2012
Answer:
Hi Scott:
The Transmitter should be connected to the audio outputs from the Blu Ray player (not inputs). Not all receivers feature a pre-amp output so you may have a problem where to connect. If your receiver does have a true preamp output you can connect to the transmitter using a standard RCA Stereo cable (R + L, optional). You can connect directly to an iPod/Smart Phone etc by connecting the headphone jack from the device to the the left and right RCA audio inputs on the transmitter (using the cable provided, 3.5mm to dual RCA).

Can this speaker work with a television?
By Customer Service - Q&A on November 27, 2011
Answer:
Hi Deb:
It depends on whether your TV has an analog audio right and left stereo output to connet to a cable to the transmitter. A second option is if you have a headphone jack on your TV. The wireless transmitter is looking for an analog output for the connection.

Do I need 2 of these speakers to use with a stereo?
Steve
By Customer Service - Q&A on November 29, 2011
Answer:
HI Steve:
No you do not need two speakers to connect to your stereo receiver. You connect the signal to the transmitter in stereo. The Transmitter broadcasts a stereo signal to the Receiver built into the the Lantern Speaker enclosure. You set the switch to M for summed Stereo Mono. You can add a second lantern speaker and set one to L for left and the second to R for right so you have true stereo seperation or both can be set to M if this is more for background music. Note; AR, Acoustic Research an Audiovox company does not offer this as seperate speaker. You must buy another complete kit including the Transmitter and lantern Speaker. You would then have a second transmitter as back up.

would this work with sirius radio home system?
By Customer Service - Q&A on December 12, 2011
Answer:
Suzanne,
Depending on what model you have, this speaker comes with a mini jack which is just like a headphone so it should be completely compatible.
CLBy Customer Service - Q&A on December 12, 2011
Answer:
Hi Suzanne:
Yes, as long as you have a RCA signal level output from your receiver or a headphone jack that you can connect to the Wireless Transmitter. The Transmitter features a right and left RCA signal level input. There is also a RCA to Mini 3.5mm stereo adaptor included in the kit that will connect the Headphone output from your receiver to the RCA inputs of the transmitter.
The key is to check with your Sirius Home System Manual for signal level (un-amplified) connection options.
