The Elevate 2-Source 4-Zone Distributed Audio System is an easy-to-use whole-house audio system that lets you listen to soft jazz with your guests in the living room and dining area while your kids rock out upstairs, and you won't have the wasted expense of multiple stereos. Control Audio Components With Keypads or Remote.
Control the two connected audio components with your existing A/V remote. Each keypad has a built-in IR receiver, so in addition to using the keys, you can simply aim your remote from across the room. IR signals are delivered to your A/V components through the two included IR emitters. Each keypad features volume control, source selection buttons, and a power button, which can also be used to power down all zones at once. The included IR remote can be used to teach keypad functions to any learning remote.
Wiring and Connections
Two- or four-conductor audio cable sends the audio signal to each pair of speakers in the four listening zones. Speaker wire, cat. 5 wiring, and audio components all connect to the Breathe Audio Allport™ connection plate.
Adding Speakers
When setting up your Breathe Audio whole-house audio system, you'll want to be sure you're connected to the proper speakers for each zone. By installing a pair of in-wall or in-ceiling speakers, you'll be assured of quality sound that won't interfere with your décor. Installing in a small room? Connect a Dual Voice Coil Speaker in your ceiling. This convenient, unobtrusive device has a pair of tweeters built right in, so it creates the illusion of full stereo sound without requiring any extra space. Outdoor speakers are also available. These weatherproof rock speakers, available in granite and sandstone, are ideal if you'll be using a patio as one of your zones.
Power Information
Each zone receives 30 watts of power for high-fidelity audio amplification. For large rooms or patio use, add a 200-watt amplifier (sold separately).
Creating a Customized Whole-House Audio System
The Breathe Audio power unit and install kit can also be purchased separately for homes only requiring two zones. You can also add keypads to expand to additional zones as necessary.

I love this system, it may not have all the bells and whistles of the pricy multi zone systems, but it gets the job done. I just turn on the computer, load up a bunch of playlists and leave it alone. Sound quality is excellent through OSD's MK550 in ceiling speakers, and B&W's WM4's outside. Volume is more than adequate for BBQ's in the backyard. A good quality cat5 crimper will make the wiring much easier. - Daren
Ordered outdoor speakers and 2-input/4-output BreatheAudio system. Finally got the system installed. Sounds great. The hard part was connecting all the house's "pre-wired" wiring. - Michael
The quality is great over all I marked down a star due to the simple installation of the wiring, the connections of the speaker wire to the back of the allport is very touchy, they need to be inserted just right to get the sound perfect overall though a great system if your doing 4 or less rooms but I wouldn't try to expand on this system if you want more rooms go with the 6/6 system but overall it is a great system that works fantastic! - MIke
Very nice system. I installed before the holiday parties. Sounds great. My guests loved the whole house audio. The IR wall swiches with the led lights look very high end, compaired to volume control knobs. The amp is very clean looking without a bunch of knobs and buttons. I do wish it had an on/off switch though. The AllPort wall connection makes for a very clean install, you don't have a bunch of exposed speaker wires to deal with. Everything is mounted inside the walls. There is no drop in power when all 4 zones are on. I have 1 input connected directly to my digital comcast cable box (plenty of music channels to chose from) also hole house sports broadcasts sound great. I use the other input for my Ipod.
The system was very well packed and was not missing any parts. I do recommend buying good quality wire strippers and cat5 crimpers. Very nice system for the money. - P Rod
