This is our flagship LCR ceiling speaker and is designed for larger theater rooms and high-end systems. They Feature an 8" Kevlar woofer, 1" aluminum dome pivoting tweeter and 175 watt power handling. Plus, you can tailor bass and treble up or down thanks to front-mounted contour switches. This is specially handy to fit your different room finish (wood floor, stone floor, carpet floor...) These speakers will look good and sound great for years to come.
Kevlar is best component for woofer, it responds note for note without coloration and has big cranking power so you can dial up your system for higher listening levels.
The contour switches will let you tailor frequency response to your room arrangement. You won't find yourself wishing for more or less treble, midrange or bass output from one speaker just because you don't happen to sit right between them.

I received my LCR870 inceiling speakers and they are by far the best speaker for the money. You wont be disapointed. Other retail outlets in my area sell the same speaker for over $300 bucks.

I installed 7 of these as our surround sound setup. Absolutely the best I have ever heard. A little background - I am 40% deaf and up until now have always needed to have closed caption on when watching TV. With these speakers the clarity is so incredible I no longer even need hearing aids when I listen in order to hear words etc... I haven't heard Speakercraft and they're supposed to be the best - but research the specs for yourself- these LCR's have better frequency response and made with the same finest materials- for only a fraction of the price! - Pat
