Can I plug a video door intercom to this system?
This system does not support any video type intercoms.
The 30 Watt power is per channel )room/patio module) or total?
30watt power is the total wattage of the whole system. The room/patio stations share the 30watts.
If the 30W power is total, can I use an amplifier?
This unit already has a built in amplifier with 30watts of power. It will not allow you to add in an amplifier into it.
Can I plug an MP3 player to the main module?
Yes there are 2 inputs on the main module for 2 sources.
What’s the difference between the DMC1, the 3-wire and 4-wire system?
A 3-wire system is restricted. Listening mode will not work in a 3-wire system. Also you are limited to expanding to 13 stations.
A 4-wire system allows the listening mode and also can expand to 15 stations. If you are doing a retrofit system then this will apply to you. If you are doing a brand new installation then you would use Cat-5 which is a 8 wire system that will allow full functioning of the system.
