I am setting up outdoor speakers for the a pool/garden and I am in need of an ipod dock that I can connect to a receiver that will be 75 to 85 Feet away fromwere I can place the dock. What do you recomend?

I would recommend a free-standing iPod dock like the SN-FS-21. The in-wall docking stations need to be less than 30 feet away from the receiver.It also features a remote control for basic iPod functions.
