i like them. 2 problems though, they dont have drain holes and sercurity hooks. overall great i own a pair of tic outdoor inground speakers and not as loud as these are. great purchase. there is something else i looked in there grill and how the speakers are. looks like water can sit in there for a few days but overall they sound great. - audiomaster

I bought a pair of these speakers for my deck area. I live on a little over an acre and at the back of my property is a creek bed, I built a deck and patio area with a bar out there and hooked up these speakers to an old kenwood amp I bought at an auction for $10. I cannot believe how good they sound! I cannot even begin to imagine how good the bigger ones sound. I'll be ordering more speakers if not these bigger ones. Thanks for providing such a great product at such a great price. - Rick

I like these rock speakers in the small form. The build quality is excellent down to the detail. I hook it up with my Panasonic receiver and put out plenty of volume for backyard BBQ and deck parties, it retains great sound quality and never felt hurting them when turning up the volume. You pay for the all weather capability, but remember it doesn't move as much air as larger speakers therefore don't expect them to deliver the same bass that you get from a 10 in subwoofer. However they do exactly what they are designed to do - good sound quality in all weather and they do it very well. By the way after I saw the new price on rock subwoofer (SubRock Subwoofer) I'm very tempered to get one this summer. - Russ
