UNBELIEVABLE SOUND COMES FROM THIS SET OF DESCEET PLANTER/SPEAKERS. I READ THE PAST REVIEWS & THEY WERE ALL CORRECT.GREAT BASS,MIDS & HIGHS AT ANY VOLUME. EVERYONE ASKS "WHERE IS THE MUSIC COMING FROM?" AND WHEN I TELL THEM, THEY CAN'T BELIEVE IT.I COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE! These speakers are excellent and we enjoy them on our deck very very much. Blows everyones mind when we tell them where the music is coming from. I give them a 4 because we are about to go into winter and unsure how they will hold up outside in the cold and if they don't hold up I will buy another set anyway lol! Great product!!! - Willystyel

I bought these for my garden, which is about 50' from the house. We enjoy the rich sound every day while working outdoors or sitting at our picnic table. Sound is incredibly good. - Jack

We are using the speakers in our new backyard playground, love them. Much better than we expected and blend well the the decor of the yard. The price is wonderful, would recommend to anyone. Friends have fun trying to find where the music is coming from, we have fun watching them try to figure it out. - Sibb

I read the posted reviews and was happy to discover that the reviews were accurate. The sound from these speakers is just outstanding. I would disagree with one comment, they actually were larger than I had expected. Plenty or room for a 6 pack of flowers or a small plant. Perhaps the coment was regarding the depth of the planting area which I admit is a bit shallow. However, if you are looking for something to hold some flowers or a small plant, look no further. I wish I had a place for another pair because I would buy them in a second. Don't let the price fool you, these are awesome! - Paul

These speakers are amazing for their size and application, they have good bass response and excellent stereo separation. With flowers in planter, you can't tell they are speakers. - Al

The flower pots are short in height, not really suited for installation where you want to place on the floor of the deck. But other than that works and souds great. - Greg

These speakers do what I need and the price was right! The only downside is that I have them connected to a speaker divider box and they drive harder than the other two sets connected so if I want to run them all, the 'flower pots' are either too soft or the others are too loud. Other than that, they are great and people are impressed. - Jim

I wasn't expecting these to sound like a pair of high end home audiophile grade stereo speakers and they don't...but they do sound pretty darn good for the price and they do exactly what I wanted them to do. We spend a lot of time on our deck and in the back yard during the summer months and wanted speakers on the deck to add background/ambient music while we are out there. We also wanted them to blend in with the space and not draw attention to themselves. These are just the ticket for our purpose. I ran the speaker wires from the receiver in the family room (zone 2) through the wall, into the basement, and then outside and under the deck. I drilled a hole under the location of each speaker so you can not see any wires in the house or on the deck. You can not tell these are speakers until you hear music coming from them. The only thing that would make them more ascetically appealing would be if they were made of real terracotta but that wouldn't be as practical, or durable. As I originally stated, I didn't expect too much in the audio quality department considering the price or design when I purchased them but I was actually a little disappointed when I first tested them out even considering my low expectations. They sounded very thin and the small amount of bass produced by them was pretty loose. We did not have anything in them on the initial sound test (no dirt/plants) but I didn't think much of that detail. I was pleasantly surprised when I fired them up the first time after filling them with potting soil and a couple ferns. The overall frequency response was much fuller and smoother. While they do not produce a tremendous amount of low frequencies, the low frequencies are now tight. These things actually sound decent now. I'm sure you can find outdoor speakers that reproduce a wider and more accurate frequency response and probably even from speakers that blend in with your outside decore but the bottom line is you would be hard pressed to do much better for the price. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. - Rich

I bought these for my deck. The sound is excellent. The 360 degree sound pattern is a real plus. I had a party and everyone was trying to guess where the music was coming from. I bought this pair of speakers and continue to be amazed at how good they sound. Plenty of bass, which always seems to be an issue with outdoor speakers, but what really amazes me is the highs. Crisp and clear. These are real planters, and look the part. Our guests always wonder where the sound is coming from, and are blown away to learn it's coming "from the plants". I bought some plant stands from Lowes, and have the speakers elevated about 18 inches, which is perfect. Think I'm gonna order me another pair for over by the spa ! - John
