I have a Yamaha EMX 66 powered mixer (120v 250W 300VA) and would like to drive these speakers on the "monitor" circuit of the unit. Will this work?

Hi Curt:
Maybe I am missing something but the Monitor circuit is a 1/4 inch connection, I am assuming is a signal level (pre amplified) output that is meant to go into a power Amplifier. I believe it would be 1/4" balanced connection to either a 1/4" balanced input or 1/4" to XLR connection. And appears to be a Stereo 1/4" output.
Outputs - Other: 2 x 1/4" monitor, 1 x 1/4" sub woofer, 1 x 1/4" foot switch
I think you need to confirm the Monitor output. We do offer amplifier with balanced line inputs under the CARVER brand name. You should connect with Yamaha regarding the Monitor output is pre amp stereo (balanced). If it stereo unbalanced your best bet would be going to our OSD AMP200 then connecting the pendant speakers. You could connect two to three pairs of pendants to the AMP-200.

How do I get sound to my OSD pendant speakers? I they are connected to red & black wires running to the back of the restaurant. There is 1 red & 1 black wire to connect to, do I need a preamp or can I convert those wires to aux & play my iPod through the pendant speakers? Thank u for your assistance.

Hi Keil:
You need a power amp to drive the Pendant speaker and you will need 2 for stereo. Checkout the NERO Integrated amplifier that can be your multi source. You can use the built in Bluetooth Receiver or connect your iPod to the aux input. Or add a connection to your satellite box to play the audio from your TV. There is a handy dandy remote control as well and even a sub woofer output. Very flexible and works very well with your pendant speakers. How many zones do you have for the restaurant. Note: run the pendant speaker as 8 ohm for this setup.
