Does this cable split left and right channel? My subwoofer has 2 inputs(left channel & right channel) and my av receiver has 1 input with both left and right channels. Currently I'm only running 1 channel with a male to male cable.
1 Answer
Hi Rishy, Yes. This will run from the single subwoofer output of your receiver to the dual inputs on your subwoofer. It is a Y-adaptor. BM 2661

I need a Y adapter with 1 male-2 female ends so I can split my recievers' signal to two subs. Do you have such an item? Thanks, Kevin
1 Answer
Hi Kevin, This is most commonly used when you have an RCA input (2) to a Sub Out (1). In theory, this should be able to connect one sub out to two subs like you say. CL/MA

Where have you been all my life?
I wasn't aware of the difference a simple cable could make when connecting a subwoofer until I did, using the MS253...Absolutely amazing!
ProsCan be locked in place to prevent slippage at in/out.puts,by turning the built in compression couplings clockwise!
ConsI don't own enough Subwoofers to warrant the use of all 5 of these I bought!
