Can this shelf be connect to a tv stand that mounts to the wall that also pivots?

It's difficult to say. I haven't heard of anyone mounting it that way and it's not intended for that per say, but I can't say it doesn't for sure.

Is there an area for the wires to go through so they do not show from the tv to the DVD shelf?
