Features & Specifications

HDMI® is a digital version of analog component video cable and greatly simplifies the connection process of high def TVs, set-top boxes, game consoles and more. HDMI can have a tremendous impact on picture quality and sound because it allows uncompressed signals that that will not degrade. OSD HDMI® cables transmit frequencies up to 10GHZ bps and transmit high quality multi-channel audio data. OSD HDMI® cables support all standard and high-definition consumer electronics video formats including 3D television and 1440p. Keep in mind that long runs (over 40 feet) often require signal boosting from and HDMI extender.

Other Product Info

HDMI® (High Definition Multimedia Interface) combines video and audio into a single digital interface. There’s a lot of misconception out there about HDMI® cables.

I am connecting a outdoor TV and will connect to a set top box inside, will 50' HDMI cable vs 60' HDMI cable make a difference in quality. Also is this cable ok to use outdoors?
1 Answer
Hi Kirk, I would recommend going with the 50 ft versus the 60-ft HDMI. With HDMI, the longer the length the greater the chance is of it not working. Make sure you connect the TV and set top box and verify it works before you do final install of the cable. The cable is CL3 rated (in-wall approved) and should work fine outdoors. TL/MA

I am going insall ceiling speakers and I need hdmi cable for my receiver and cable box is this good for this
1 Answer
Sabrina, This cable is CL3 rated and approved for in-wall/in-ceiling use. When using HDMI cables the longer they are the better chance they may have problems connecting. If you can get away with a 50 footer that would be a better choice than the 60 footer. We do have 30 day gurantee either way so if it does not work you can return it. Whatever cable you choose make sure to connect your intended components outside the wall and make sure they work first before installing it inside the wall. CL
