How is the bass response on these speakers? I have covered patio that is 16 x 36. Will these work?

This speaker is designed for unique mounting applications and has a frequency response of 60Hz to 20KHz. This means it’s not bass heavy and designed to have a broader dispersion pattern with the dual 4" woofers. By connecting 2 pair or 4 each in a circle, it gives you 360 degree surround sound. If you are looking for more bass, go with something like our AP650 (with 6.5 inch woofer) or AP850 (with 8 inch woofer). These are both rated down to 37Hz at the bottom end.

I am looking at buying these as a gift for my husband, for use on the deck. Can these just be added to the speaker outputs on our current home theatre receiver? Or do I need some other component? Thanks!
