 Daily Tech Tip: I’m thinking about purchasing some speakers for my medium-sized patio. Is there a set rule on how far apart I should place the patio speakers? Great question! If you’re listening to your speakers from a table and/or chairs, think of the speakers connected to your listening area as a triangle. The distance from your listening area to the speakers should be equal to the distance separating the speakers. Therefore, if you are going to sit 10 feet from each speaker, then the patio speakers should be 10 feet apart. You should also angle speakers to your listening area if possible.
