The OSD IW525 in-wall LCR (left, right, center) trimless speaker is an economical and space-saving option for adding left, center and right channels to a home theater or media room. With its architect trimless design this in-wall LCR speaker can be used as a center-channel speaker in a surround-sound stereo or as a right or left speaker in a high-end system and complete your design looks. Dual polypropylene woofers produce clear, full bass tones with smooth high-frequency roll-off, while the 1" silk dome tweeter gives you distortion-free sound on the high end. The IW525 is capable of handling up to 150 watts so it can be paired with robust sound systems, and it's easy to install with the included template.Features:

Is the iw525 dual 5.25 in wall speaker weatherproof?

Hi Brad:
You could waterproof it but it would not be wise to expose directly to the elements. You can weatherproof it with waterproof silicon applied to metal parts on the back plus using it to seal the frame around the cutout hole. There is no grill which is powder Coated steel which if scratched could start to rust. You can not beat the price.

You need to call Outdoor speaker depot directly and talk to someone in customer service about the possibility of locating a replacement grill for this B stock speaker. 562-697-2600, go through sales, ask them the same question.
