A team OSD favorite, the AMP200 is a high current 2-channel amp with loads of features. This amp lets you home run (directly to the back of the amp) two pairs of speakers or 4 speakers total. Since it's high current, you can add up to 4 pairs of speakers (8 speakers total) by adding OSD speakers selectors such as the DSM4. Rated at 80 Watts per channel at 8 ohms, the OSD-AMP200 is overload stable so it's ideal for use anywhere clean power is needed. It also includes a dual source switching circuit. When you connect two independent sources number (say your iPod and a TV in another room) source one takes priority when it is active. When source one is turned off, source number two comes on. Note: You cannot play two sources simultaneously. For this feature you need a multi-channel amp like our MX1260. Step-up features rarely seen in amps of this price range include a built-in voltage meter, and front mounted volume and balance trim controls. 

High Performance, High Current Power 
Rated at 80 watts per channel at 8 ohms, and stable down to 2 ohms, the OSD-AMP200 is overload stable so it's ideal for use anywhere clean power is needed. It also includes a dual source switching automatic circuit. Step-up features rarely seen in amps of this price range include a built-in voltage meter, and front mounted volume and balance trim controls. 

AMP200 offers 80 watts RMS per channel of power, with bridgeable outputs for up to 250 watts RMS. A, B, or A+B speaker selector switches make managing connected outputs easy. And a signal-sensing power on feature lets the amp power up automatically when you power on your source. 

Automatic Source Switching 
The AMP200 can automatically switch between connected sources, thanks to a priority signal-sensing feature. So if you have your iPod connected to input 2, then decide you want to watch a movie, when the DVD player connected to the main input 1 is turned on, the AMP120 will automatically switch to that source. 

A variable delay control lets you adjust the amount of time needed to "listen" for a signal from your main input, between 3 and 15 seconds, so things like gaps between CD tracks won't accidentally switch your inputs. 

Works with Smartphones, iPods, and Other Portable Devices 
Use the AMP200 to connect your Smartphone or other portable music device (as long as you have a headphone jack.) The AMP200 includes two RCA signal level inputs marked as red for right and white for left. Using an RCA-to-mini stereo cable (sold separately), plug the 3.5mm stereo connector into the headphone output of your iPod or other portable device, then connect the RCAs to one of the inputs of the AMP200.

Hi Steven: What is your application? Are you looking to bridge 2 AMP 200's and run one for Left and the other for Right channel through a Speaker Selector? Or just a single AMP200. The Bridged output is a mono two conductor connection using the two positive connection on speaker A. The input is just plus or minus to the speaker selector, and if you are connecting just a single mono connection it would be connected to only left or right input of the speaker selector. Note: in the Bridged Mono setting it is also important that the amplifier sees a 8 ohm impedance. If you can supply us with more info on your application including products you may already have or products you are looking to buy. Brand name and model numbers help. steven • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM Hello, I have the AMP200 and the SSVC6D. Do you have a simple diagram of how to hook these two up in bridge mode. I have several OSD rock speakers hooked up to the SSVC6d. Then the input coming from a Yamaha RX-A2040 receiver (zone 3 out). The instructions that are with the AMP200 are a bit confusing. Ideally can you provide a simple diagram for hooking this up. I believe there shouldn't be any issue given the equipment to run it this method.

Hi Steven: The bridge mode is not the way to go since it is 8 ohm sensitive. The AMP200 is a high current amplifier will provide plenty of output with the SSVC6D. It is 2 ohm stable and easily runs all day long on a 4 ohm load. And you just connect Speaker A output R and L +/- to the Source A of the SSVC6D. Make sure you connect the pre amp out from the Zone 3 to input #2. That will give you an option of running a powered sub to go with with one of your zones (output #2 only comes from input #2). Note the SSVC6D has dual source but only a master source switch so it can only play one source at a time. Note, make sure you set the gains in the back both right and left. Turn the front volume knob to full output then adjust the gains till it starts to clip then cut the gains back slightly. Do this with all the Volume controls in the SSVC6D fully open as well. You will have no problem getting the output you desire. TL/3723

Hi Steve: Unfortunately this has no wireless or Bluetooth wireless receiver built in. You would need to add a stand alone black box WiFi Receiver or look at something like the SONOS Connect which has all the programming and applications you would want and all controlled by your smartphone, tablet or Universal remote. If so what would be the peak/RMS wattage on channel A with stereo at 8 ohm as well would the peak/RMS wattage be on channel B with a mono bridge at 4 ohms?

Hi James: The AMP200 can not be configured as you propose. The Stereo/Bridge switch is either Bridged or Stereo not both at the same time, so when you select Bridged you only get one bridged output from Speaker A where you connect both positive outputs (noted as Right Positive: - and Left Positive the :+). Speaker B is not used when in Bridged Mode. You would also need to have an 8 ohm load for the Bridged mode versus the single 4 ohm sub you have (two four ohm subs in series as an example would be 8 ohm). The AMP200 would work the best if you connected two pair of 8 ohm book shelf speakers in parallel for a 4 ohm stereo load which would increase the current and output to 125 watts per channel. Then add an external Sub-woofer amplifier like our SMP-250. Make sure you connect to Input #2 then connect the Sub woofer amplifier to the Output #2 which is a direct pass through from Input #2. You would then use your controls on the sub woofer amplifier to adjust the High cut filter crossover setting and gain control for your sub woofer. TL/3816
John • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I have a Denon AVR3808CI receiver. I have 2 ceiling speakers in another room and 4 rock speakers outside. Each pair of speakers is on a rotary volume control. The outdoor speakers are 8 ohm 175 watt max speakers. They are all connected to zone 2 but there is distortion. Will the AMP200 work for my setup?

Hi John: The Denon is an excellent Receiver, I am assuming you have three pair of speakers connected to Zone 2. Are they connected to the Speaker Output for the Back Surround Channels/AMP Assign? Typically Audio Video Receivers equipped with second zone output (speaker level) recommend connecting a single pair of 8 ohm speakers only. They usually discourage using multiple speakers, speaker selectors or volume controls. The receiver is using a common Power Supply for all channels driven for the custom Home theater and zone 2. This maybe causing your issue with the connection. I am also assuming you used Impedance Matching Volume Controls set to 4X? One for the internal speakers and a Volume control for each pair of rocks. Adding the AMP 200 which would connect to the Pre amp ZONE 2 output of the Receiver would be a good addition. You might also want to add an ISS4 speaker selector to organize your connections back at the AMP200. Make sure the Protection switch of the speaker selector is disabled (off) and that the Impedance matching Volume Controls are handling the protection. Check your impedance settings. With the AMP 200 you could set all three volume controls to 2X. That will show a 4 ohm load at the amplifier creating more current and audio output. Good choice TL/3847
