The XMP100 is the digital Class D version of our popular AMP 120 amplifier. This amp will also power Dolby Surround Sound systems and enhance the power of OSD outdoor speakers. Automatic source switching enables users to connect more than one source to the amp, so, for instance, you could use it to power both a DVD player and an iPod. The XMP100 has the ability to automatically switch sources, as well, if you choose to go from listening to music on your iPod to watching a flick on a DVD player. The power amplifier has 75 watts RMS per channel and bridgeable outputs for 160 watts RMS. An input of 1.4 volts is needed to reach full output and the signal to noise ratio is 107dB (A-weighted). The Dual Source 2-Channel Stereo Amplifier XMP100 has front panel-mounted volume and balance knobs and comes with a two-year warranty.

    Connecting Your Smartphone is Easy!
A great feature of the XMP100 is the ability to connect your smartphone, iPod, or other portable music device (as long as it has a headphone jack). The XMP100 includes two RCA signal level inputs marked as red for right and white for left. All you need to do is purchase our inexpensive RCA to mini cable (see RCA audio cables under the audio/video cables tab). The mini 3.5 connector is plugged into the headphone output of your device then the RCAs are connected to one of the inputs of the XMP100. It's that easy!

Bill Burgess • 03/14/2021, 2:31:58 PM Will this amp handle 4 outdoor 6.5 pendant speakers for around a pool
    Customer Service • 03/16/2021, 11:48:26 AM
Hi Bill: Yes, this amplifier is rated to do 4-ohms, allowing you to power 2 speakers in Parallel. The Class D design is 93% efficient. At a minimum, this amp will work to drive two 6.5 inch pendants speakers. Our Pendant speakers (the FORZA 6s) are rated at 85dB, which means that they need more power to drive them. A better choice of amplifiers would be our AMP200 or XMP300. You want to have more power to drive speakers outdoors. Good luck TimL
Matt • 10/13/2021, 9:23:25 PM can I hook a bluetooth receiver directly to this AMP and play from my smartphone?
    Customer Service • 10/14/2021, 12:08:01 PM
Hi Matt: To connect your Bluetooth Receiver, it will need to have either a pair of female RCA (color-coded; Right/red,& Left/white) or a single stereo 3.5mm female (usually referred to as a headphone jack). If your Bluetooth receiver has one of these options available, You will connect a stereo RCA Patch cord to the first option or a 3.5mm to Dual RCA connectors to the second option. Next, connect to the Main inputs on the XMP100. Note; there are two speaker outputs labeled as Speaker A and Speaker B. You can power a pair of 8-ohm speakers to each and play at the same time. The A/B buttons are a little tricky. When you press A in and then try to press B in, A will pop out. To play both, you will need to push both in at the same time. Good luck TL/10/14/2021
Bill Floyd • 05/08/2023, 10:32:33 AM Does the OSD XMP100 have a remote to separately control the A B speakers or are there Universal Remote codes to allow this?
    Customer Service • 05/23/2023, 3:51:27 AM
Hi Bill: There is no IR Remote, and Speaker A is a manual switch on the front panel. There is no IP control. You can add a streaming source like our SRT1, a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Media Streamer. The SRT1 features a 24bit/192KHz internal DAC. The connection to the XMP100 is analog. We also offer an Integrated AMP/Preamp with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. TimL 5/2023
Tony Godwin • 05/20/2023, 11:58:38 AM Can I use this with an onkyo receiver that doesn’t have built in Zones to create a outside zone?
    Customer Service • 06/05/2023, 5:50:37 PM
Hi Tony: It will only work with an ONKYO Reciever featuring a Zone 2 Preamp output. There is no Speaker Level input to connect to an assignable speaker level output (usually channels 6 and 7 of a 7.2 AVR). Some Speaker Level to RCA converters are mainly used in 12 Volt Car audio. But you may need a power adapter to power it as well. Our AMP300 features both Speaker Level and Signal Level options. Plus lots more pure Class A/B power output. TimL TimL
