Would like to know if this is can be place in an covered patio and what are the screw made out of

Hi Milly:
The factory does not recommend mounting this TV mount outdoors. Especially since the screws and hardware are not stainless steel. It would be very expensive to supply all the hardware most of which is not used. This particular mount is mostly Aluminum so would work for outdoors. The question is are you looking to buy a true outdoor television which might have the specific hardware.
