Do I need any mounting bracket for this wall plate?
1 Answer
HI Thomas: These are made to work with a standard Dual gang Junction box. The plate includes the screws needed to mount to the in-wall box. The holes in the plate lines up directly with the US Junction box (in this case a double Gang box) I believe the J-Boxes are different than your European standard J Boxes. So unless you have access to a US Junction box these will not work for you. TL/3144

Is the OSD Double Gang Pass Through suitable for outdoor use? I need to run speaker wire outdoors and it will need to come through the wall in a somewhat visible area, so I want a cleaner finished look.
1 Answer
Hi Jk, You can use the wall plate outside. Just keep in mind that the scoop is not sealed so moisture and insects could get in if you fail to seal it off. CL/MA 1971

How many HDMI cables can go through this wall plate? Thank you
1 Answer
The scoop on this plate is about 2" wide. You should be about to get 2-4 HDMI cables through it depending on the size of the heads & gauge of the cables.
