Features & Specifications

The NCCB7 new construction bracket can be used for our ICE630 and ICE660 ceiling speakers and is typically installed when the studs or joists are exposed before mounting the sheet rock or ceiling tiles. All OSD Audio speakers feature a retrofit mounting system called dog-eared clamps and can be installed without new construction bracket; however, some customers prefer the extra support the bracket provides. In addition, the brackets allow you determine the exact placement of the speaker while providing a template to cut the mounting hole.

This 6.5" new construction bracket fits the ICE630 and ICE660.

When will this bracket be available? I'm getting ready to drywall my basement and need this. Thanks

What is the difference between this product and the NCCB6 and NCCB6K brackets? I see the NCCB7 works for the angled speakers, but will it also work for most other speakers too? I don't see any dimensional specifications on any of these brackets so I can tell what makes them so different (if any thing). I know using the NCCB7's would be a more expensive solution, but the other ones have been out of stock for a while now and who knows when they'll be back in again?

Jeff, The "K" usually is for the Kevlar speakers, including the "MK" series. You would just need to take a look at the cut out of the speakers in question and compare them with the cut out of the speakers that fit the NCCB7- If they are the same it will fit. The NCCB6 will be in stock the end of May. CL
