I bought this subwoofer for my home office. I like the size, it is the smallest sub I could find. The performance is sufficient for a room this size (12X15), and the controls enable me to contour the sound for good balance with my bookshelf speakers in the room. I would go for a bigger sub for a larger room, but for a small room and the price, I'm very happy. - Eric
