Jose • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I just bought 2 pairs of these speakers, I will be using the Pioneer VSX D557 receiver to power all 4 speakers. Do I connect the speakers to the connection labeled front A and B, or Front A and Rear Right, Rear Left?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Jose, To connect the four outdoor patio speakers to the receiver, use the Front Left and Right and Rear Left and Right. If you are using a home theater receiver tailored to surround sound, go to the menu functions and change it to stereo mode. If it's in stereo mode, you can connect one pair to the front and one pair to the rear. CL/MA 1677
Mike • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I want to go with a pair of these with the SUB200 in the Sub-Sat configuration but I am not sure what size amp to use. Any suggestions? Can I brige the amp in this configuration to get the most power? Deck is 14' X 17' with pergola top. Would the AP670 sound better than the 525's with this deck area?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Mike, Rather than bridging it into mono, the better option is to run our OMSUB200 outdoor omni subwoofer in stereo with these speakers using our AMP200 amp. The AP670 patio speakers have a larger woofer and higher wattage so you would have more volume; however, the AP525s use higher quality polypropylene woofers. Both speaker pairs are comparable to the AP650s, which would be the best choice for a larger patio. CL/MA 1804
mark • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM do I have to match the spkrs impedience to the receivers 8 ohms to 8
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Mark, It’s best to run 8-ohm speakers with an amp or receiver rated at 8 ohms. All of the speakers we carry, except ones labeled 70V, are 8 ohms so it should not be a problem. CL/MA 1954
Bob N. • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM Need 70v cabinet speakers for an indoor p.a. system. running 9 speakers x 3 rooms (3 amps). 99% of use for lectures, announcements, etc. Are these good for this application. What size amp should be used to support 9 daisy-chained speakers? Are the 70v speakers same price and what is delivery time once ordered? Bob/Chino Hills, CA
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Bob, Thank you for you question. Yes, the AP525 70v version will provide good clarity and volume. They have 70v taps for 2.5w, 5w, 10w, 15w, and 25w. Thus, you would need a 70v amplifier that provides anywhere from 25 watts to 225 watts depending on how loud you wish to have them. If using our PA90 70v amplifier, it pushes out 60 watts, so you would need to set each of the 9 speakers to 5w or less. The 70v version is $10 more than the standard 8ohm version. We are located in California and can ship same day as long as the order is placed before our 3pm cutoff time. -BM 2078
Steve • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM What is the coldest temperture these speakers can be in before I take them for winter?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Steve, Thank you for the question. We don't have a specific temperature, but they will handle cold weather. If it is anything lower than usual, the best thing you can do is bring them indoors for periods of non use. -BM
