Introducing the BTP650 Wireless BT Patio Speaker Pair, the perfect addition to your deck or patio. These sleek and modern speakers are designed to withstand all weather conditions with an IP54 rating and are constructed with a water-resistant treated paper woofer and a 1" silk dome tweeter. With a power handling of 150W, you can enjoy powerful sound no matter the occasion.

The speakers feature Wireless BT Version 5.0 and are compatible with A2DP Standard, making it easy to connect to any Wireless BT-enabled device. The powder-coated rust-resistant aluminum grille and gold-plated spring-loaded binding posts add to the durability of the speakers, while the composite resin low resonator cabinet provides clear and crisp sound.

The set includes one main speaker and one pairing speaker, and comes with a full-motion bracket for easy installation. The power supply length is 3' 5" from plug to transformer and 15' 5" from transformer to speaker. The speakers are available in black or white and come with a 1-year warranty. Sold as a pair.

    Helpful tips:
    1) Determine the ideal location where the Patio Speakers are not exposed directly to the elements. Note: speakers typically should be placed between 8 to 12 feet apart for proper stereo separation.
    2) The Master Patio Speaker needs to be located near an AC outlet where you can connect the Power Supply to the Master Speaker in order provide the electrical current needed for the Internal Stereo Power Amplifier and Wireless BT Receiver.
    3) The Pairing speaker must be connected to the Master Speaker with the 10-foot Speaker Cable that is supplied with the kit. The length of the speaker cable can be cut down for an exact fit but should not be extended beyond 30 feet

Troy • 04/04/2023, 6:56:18 PM I am looking at plugging these into an outdoor switched outlet. Can I simply leave the power switch on the speaker set to "on" and turn them on and off via the wall switch that controls the outlet? They will be mounted high up, so I'm hoping that's the case...
    Customer Service • 04/14/2023, 2:14:48 PM
Hi Troy: I have recommended connecting to an intelligent outdoor plug where the plug can be turned on/off using an app on your phone. It would be the same as you had suggested. So, yes, that will work. You will hear an audible signal that it is ready to re-sync with your device. TimL/4-14-2023
    R L Steed • 04/09/2023, 7:06:05 PM Will theBT650 pair with MusicCast App
    Customer Service • 04/14/2023, 3:21:32 PM
Hi RL: That is a good question. The key is doing the Musiccast device you select, does it transmit to a Bluetooth-enabled device like our BTP-650-PAR, which does have a Bluetooth Version 5.0. I know that I can use an Echo Dot I can connect to the BTO650 by selecting Bluetooth transmitter in the ALEXA app. Once I can select Bluetooth Transmitter I can see devices available to sync with, including the OSD BTP-650. So once connected, I can ask ALEXA to play something from Spotify, Pandora, or AMAZON Music. MusicCast says it will connect with Soundbars, which are Bluetooth Devices as well. Maybe you should ask Yamaha about its MusicCast App. TimL/4-14-2023
Mark • 04/10/2023, 1:33:09 PM At the brewery we have an Onkyo receiver that has a pair of speakers hardwired to it. We play music via a Samsung phone bluetooth connection to the Onkyo. I would like to install a pair of your speakers outside on the patio and use the same bluetooth signal to feed those speakers too so that the same music is playing inside and outside. Will this work with Samsungs dual audio?
    Customer Service • 04/14/2023, 3:41:37 PM
Hi Mark: Technically Bluetooth version 5.0 will allow you to sync up with two Bluetooth Devices and play them at the same time. Especially on Android devices like the SAMSUNG. Apple iPhone will sync up with two devices but unless they are Apple-branded products it will only play one or the other of the two devices, not both at the same time. Another option you have, if you can hardwire a second pair of speakers to the ONKYO (if a four-ohm output and your first pair of speakers are 8-ohm) like our AP650 passive speakers (the same speakers used in the BTP650) wiring them in Parallel then all you have to worry about is the one Bluetooth connection to the ONKYO. I think either option will work. TimL/4-4-2023
Chad M • 04/14/2023, 7:03:09 PM Can these speakers be used with one of the Bluetooth subs? Or can you recommend a suitable outdoor sub to work with this pair?
    Customer Service • 05/22/2023, 1:53:05 PM
HI Chad: The BTP650 is a closed system. There is no way to add a subwoofer to go with them. The AP650 speakers featured in the kit are rated below 50 Hz, so the is already some low-end info. The only solution for adding a sub to these speakers is a BOM4.1.2 and adding one to two pairs of AP650 speakers. The BOM4.1.2 has two 60Watt internal Amplifiers that will drive a pair of speakers per each amp. Plus, you will have an 8" sub with a 100 Watt Mono sub amp. The 8" Woofer, Sub Amp, two Stereo Amplifiers, and a Bluetooth Receiver are all inside the BOM Enclosure. Two four conductor wires come from the bottom of the cabinet to connect to the AP650 or AP525 (the 5.25" 2-way version). Typically, the 5.25" speakers are the best match for the BOM like the AP525 patio, RX550 Rocks, or the FORZA5 Garden Landscape Pendants. I have the bundles featuring our LS2 and LS3 Pendant speakers for you. Tim L 5/2023
Brett Pedigo • 06/01/2023, 6:08:44 PM I like the idea of the Bluetooth speakers. Do you have any option to run more than 2? Thanks!
    Customer Service • 06/05/2023, 7:39:43 PM
Hi Brett: If you have an Android Smartphone, you can sync up two pairs to play simultaneously. Both the BTP650 speakers and most Smartphones have Bluetooth version 5.0 chipsets. The V5.0 features an extended range and the ability to connect to two Bluetooth speakers. Apple iPhones and iPads also feature Version 5.0, allowing you to sync up to two pair of Bluetooth-enabled speakers. But since the BTP650 are not an Apple-branded product, you can only play one team at a time. TimL
