Features & Specifications

This beefy single rock speaker comes in sandstone brown or granite grey and does a superb job of filling larger outdoor spaces. The RS810 rock provides clear, dynamic sound with greater volume potentials for open areas. This rock speaker can handle medium and large back yards or patios and features an all-weather enclosure design that protects it from salt, water, pool chemicals and more. Rated at 250W power the RS810 has a 8" polypropylene cone woofer and 2" dome tweeter for rich low frequencies and crisp highs.

• Incredibly realistic looking—friends won’t know where the sound is coming from!
• Built to last—bring on the heat, the rain, the cold, this speaker can take it
• High power handling for larger areas
• Quality components ensure rich clear sound with no distortion
• Choose the color that matches your landscape

Plenty of power
Customers generally buy two or more RS810s to fill large areas with rich clear sound with no distortion. Rated at 250 Watts, the realistic-looking RS810 can fill spaces as large as 1000 square feet and the larger-sized woofer promotes rich bass.

Do I need an 8" woofer?
That really depends on the space you're trying to fill. Our 8” speakers offer a greater overall sound performance than smaller models because the increased cone size allows, among other things, more bass capability. These models are designed for use in large areas, such as pool areas and large yards. A lot of our customers include theme parks and hotel pools where the speakers are competing against a lot with ambient noise, and the larger woofer and tweeter keeps the sound focused and clear.

To improve longevity of the surface quality on our outdoor speakers, place the rocks in a shaded area to prevent color fade from too much direct sunlight. It is recommended to keep our outdoor speakers out of contact with any chemicals that may be present in your yard. We encourage you to bring the speakers indoors or cover them up during the off seasons to ensure a longer life for the speaker

I purchased the ICE 8000 speakers. Silly question, but how do you remove the cover to access the mounting screws? Looks likes its sealed.
1 Answer
Hi Dean, Thanks for the question! The speakers should have come with a tiny grill removal tool in a baggy. It's thin like a paperclip and is shaped like a key. This is used to pry the edges of the grill out, gently, until it pops off. If you don't have this tool, you can position the dog-ear clamps outward facing away from the speaker, and use your palms to push them down towards the grill, which will pop the grill off. Be careful using that method. A 3rd option is to use both palms to push down on the trim lining the speaker and keep moving your palms around the circumference while pushing each spot. This will pop the grill off too. Call if you have trouble. Thanks! -BM 2220

Am I able to run both right and left channels through one of thses RS810 speakers. I realize it will not be true stereo but how does it affect the quality and how would I do it?
1 Answer
Hi Jon, This outdoor rock speaker is sold as a single speaker for right or left and is not a dual voice coil speaker. Most customers will purchase two for stereo sound. Consider instead the RS850TT dual voice coil rock unit that will give you both a right and left channel from one speaker. You will use a 4-conductor speaker cable that will connect to your receiver or amp just as if you were connecting a pair. CL/MA 1682

Trying to compare these to the existing speakercraft ruckus speakers in my backyard. I have 500 sq foot patio on an acre of land. My exisitng speakers don't seem to have enough power. Have to turn them all the way up tp get good sound. Can you help by telling me what I need in terms of wattage etc. Thanks!

Hi Steve: Both the Speaker craft and our OSD RS810 Rock speakers are excellent choices. But we need to know what the rest of your system consists of including make and model of your sources and power (amplifier or Receiver). Please contact me at TL
