Hi. Looking to run 4 of these speakers in a theater room. I'm on a budget and would like to know if these put out good amount of bass?

Answer:
These are audiophile quality speakers that are rated to go down to 30Hz for plenty of bass. Home Theater on a budget sounds like you are not using a 5.1 audio/video receiver and instead going with two pairs of speakers connected to a external amplifier (which you may already own) using your TV as one of the sources. You also were comparing these speakers to the ACE645 invisible 61/2" in-ceiling speakers. These feature a cosmetically appealing frameless grille more so than their overall sound quality and bass response. But at $79.50 versus $119.90 you could add a dedicated powered subwoofer like our S-10 for a little more money. We also offer the broadest selection of Custom Home Theater speakers including In-wall and In-ceiling LCR (left, center and right) options, Surround Speakers and Powered Subwoofers. We even have 5.1 and 7.1 Audio/Video Receivers!

Need 4 speakers in my office, 20 x 30 and 4 in my shop 32 x 50 what would you recommend?

Answer:
Mike,
I would go with our ice650 in your office, as well as our ice850 in your shop since its larger. Those are our best selling speakers and in my opinion our best deals too!

Answer:
Hi Mike:
CL, hit it on the head recomending using 8" in the larger area...
Here is something else to think about... regarding the source as well...
Option#1:
OSD PA190 70 Volt Power Amplifier with intercom capability to power 4 ICE640ST for your office and 4 ICE840 for your warehouse. I am assuming you have a drop down tile ceiling for your warehouse as well. These are unique that they feature dedicated back boxes. These are wired in parallel from speaker to speaker. Each spekaer features a summed Monofull range signa. Plus you hae voice over intercom capabilityl
Option#2: AMP200 Power Amplifier, DSM8 Dual source speaker selector and 4 each of the ICE640TT for the office and 4 each of the ICE840TT for the Warhouse. These are summed mono stereo speakers that could be connected to single zone of the DSM8 speaker selector. No only would you have the ability of turning each speaker on and off but have a choice of A or B source for each speaker. So you could play different music in the office while listening to something else in the warehouse. The amp also features automatic source switching so source #1 could be connected to your computer to play an iTunes library or be connected to streaming intenet radio. You could then connect an iPod to source #2 which would be active once source #1 was turned off. The DSM8 speaker selector features dual speaker level (amplifier signal) connection so the AMP200 would be source number one and either a receiver or another ampifier could be connected for source number two.
