Features normally found on speakers costing much more include a 5¼” carbon-filled polypropylene woofer and PEI Dome Tweeter for smooth, clear background audio. This is a great speaker for if you need to fill a large area with background music but don’t want to blow your entire budget on speakers. Customers are often amazed that an in-wall speaker in this price range could be such high quality but the proof is there when they turn on their system.
Why choose in-wall speakers over regular speakers?
Typically rectangular in shape (although we do offer square models), in-wall speakers are mounted in the wall and take up far less space than traditional box speakers. Customers love that wires are neatly concealed behind the wall and OSD in-walls can even be painted to match a room décor. Most in-wall speakers use the wall cavity as their enclosure or cabinet, which explains why in-wall must be installed to sound right. In wall speakers are often categorized by the size of the woofer, not the size of the speaker itself.

Got these to run a whole house speaker system through the existing phone wire (we got rid of our land lines a while ago). Found these, and since I needed 2 pair w/o volume control, these fit the bill at the right price. They were very easy to install and look great! Sound quality is great too! Ordered five sets for the house system. Very good quality for the money. I am sure there are in-wall speakers that sound better, but not for $65. - Greg
You never know what to expect when you order speakers online, especially the cheapest speakers they have in a category. But man I gotta say these are AMAZING.
I am using them for music in a bathroom so maybe the acoustics do add a bit to it, but the bass is full, the highs are crisp and smooth and I can actually say the sound is rather "accurate". I heard instruments in the music I could barely make out normally.
Installation was easy and they do even have easy speaker input wire connectors, which I was not expending on a low end speaker set.
Would I buy again? Yep! Excellent speaker for the price. Love it. - Paul
