Unique easy-access impedance matching jumper setting without open the weatherproof seal box. If you enjoy an outdoor audio system, you'll love the convenience of outdoor volume controls! Now you can stop dragging the remote control outside where it is sure to get lost, or avoid having to get up and go to your audio source to turn the volume up or down. This pure resonance volume control offers 100 Watts of optimized sound quality with minimal bass roll-off. Control 1-8 pairs of speakers simultaneously with impedance matching. The autoformer design features outstanding sound quality due to high permeability steel utilization in the volume control core. Comes with Grey or white face plate. In addition, the OVC-100 includes an easy access impedance switch that lets you set the impedance without opening the box.

Neal • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM To be sure I am purchasing the correct items. I will be using an AMP300, a pair of AP650's and an OVC100. The application is for my Lanai outdoors. My main Receiver is a Danon as the source. Distance between the Source and the AMP 300 will be about 15 feet or so and the location of the OVC300 will be between 15 and 25 ft from the AMP300. Question 1: Are there any other components I need? Question 2: Will I run into any issue because of the distance run?

Hi Neal:AMP300 is a good start. Now the question which Volume Control will work best for you. If you are planning on expanding beyond one or two zones, then Impedance Matching is essential. So you would choose the OVC300 per zone, and you might want to add a Speaker Selector depending on how many zones you determine for your setup. The AMP300 features Speaker A and Speaker B outputs and allows you some flexibility in adding a second pair of speakers in parallel whether you connect to Speaker A only and power two pair of AP650 wired in parallel after the Volume Control. Or you can combine both Speaker A and Speaker B and feature an in-line Volume Control for each pair of AP650 patio speakers. If this is your end game, then I would recommend using one or two of the OVC305R Resister based Outdoor Volume Controls which have no Impedance Matching capability. But have a broader Frequency Response with no High or Low-End roll-off versus a Transformer type VC. It also disconnects completely (no signal) when turned all the way Counterclockwise until it stops at the last click. The OVC300 a transformer style is selected more for the Impedance Matching capability when you are dealing with multiple zones. Please let me know if you need additional assistance with your setup; tim@osdaudio.com
Jon Jones • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM :ove this, I ordered 2 of diferent sets of speakers and they work wonderful - however, just curious if they are OK to spray paint because right now they kind of stand out in the yard//Thanks!

Hi Jon:Which speakers do you have? Typically our speakers come in white or black. And depending on the speaker, some have grills that remove easier than others. I know all our In-Ceiling, and In-Wall speakers feature paintable frames and speaker grills. I would recommend taking it to an independent paint store and asking someone what be the best paint for the particular cabinet. You definitely would want to mask off the front bezel surrounding the speakers. That could include the grill as well depending on the color combination you are looking for to match your application.TL/5537
Jon • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I have the BOM4.1 with one two sets of AP525 speakers 8 ohms 60 watts from powered sub. Can I control volume to one set of speakers with this devise?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Jon:You can use a single OVC100 in line from a stereo pair coming from the BOM4.1, or you can add a second OVC100 to the second pair of Stereo conductors. Make sure the impedance setting for one or both of the OVC100 (if you decide to utilize two VC). There are passive devices wired in line where you turn the sound down to the point there is no sound.Good luckTL/5562
