Introducing the BTP650 Wireless BT Patio Speaker Pair, the perfect addition to your deck or patio. These sleek and modern speakers are designed to withstand all weather conditions with an IP54 rating and are constructed with a water-resistant treated paper woofer and a 1" silk dome tweeter. With a power handling of 150W, you can enjoy powerful sound no matter the occasion.
The speakers feature Wireless BT Version 5.0 and are compatible with A2DP Standard, making it easy to connect to any Wireless BT-enabled device. The powder-coated rust-resistant aluminum grille and gold-plated spring-loaded binding posts add to the durability of the speakers, while the composite resin low resonator cabinet provides clear and crisp sound.
The set includes one main speaker and one pairing speaker, and comes with a full-motion bracket for easy installation. The power supply length is 3' 5" from plug to transformer and 15' 5" from transformer to speaker. The speakers are available in black or white and come with a 1-year warranty. Sold as a pair.
Helpful tips:
1) Determine the ideal location where the Patio Speakers are not exposed directly to the elements. Note: speakers typically should be placed between 8 to 12 feet apart for proper stereo separation.
2) The Master Patio Speaker needs to be located near an AC outlet where you can connect the Power Supply to the Master Speaker in order provide the electrical current needed for the Internal Stereo Power Amplifier and Wireless BT Receiver.
3) The Pairing speaker must be connected to the Master Speaker with the 10-foot Speaker Cable that is supplied with the kit. The length of the speaker cable can be cut down for an exact fit but should not be extended beyond 30 feet

The underside of my deck is roughly 15 to 20 feet high. Will these speakers connect to bluetooth without the sound cutting out?

Hi Kevin:
Bluetooth operates a little like IR where it is a line of site between your Bluetooth enabled device and the Bluetooth Speaker located in your master speaker, the one that has the AC cord and Power Supply attached to it. But it does have some connectivity through objects. Wireless of any kind is not a perfect science. But we do have 30 day performance guarantee so you could find out.

Is that 100 watts total (50 X 2) or 100 watts per speaker?

Yes that is about right 100 watts peak. Note these are Class D amplifiers as well and closer to 90% efficient versus 50% for typical Class A/B Analog. The AP650 is a bigger amplifier than the BTP 525.

Can you connect two pairs of these to one blue tooth source?

None of our current lineup of Bluetooth Speakers feature more than a single pair with one speaker being the Master (with power) and the second being the satellite (passive speaker connected by speaker wire). We are working on a unique new product that will you allow connect two pair of any outdoor speakers. Two patio speakers or a pair of patio and a pair of rocks, any combination of speakers from our vast offering of outdoor (Rocks, Patio, Garden or Omni speakers) or even (in-ceiling or on-wall).

If I place the speakers 20 feet apart, can i use speaker wire longer than 30 feet to connect them? The manual says to place speakers within 30 feet of each other, but there is no mention of speaker wire length. The included wire was only 25 feet long. I need around 35 feet of wire to mount and install my speakers where I want them. Again, just 20 feet from speaker-to-speaker, but I need a longer length of wire. Is this recommended?

We typically recommend the patio speakers to be placed between 8 to 12 feet apart for proper stereo separation (calculating the prime listening area would be 8 to 12 feet from the two speakers forming a triangle. We include 25 feet just in case you have to be creative when running your speaker wire. You can easily upgrade your speaker wire our 16/2 CL3/FT4 rated outdoor speaker wire. It is sold from 50 to 500 feet. It is approved for in-wall, outdoor and direct burial.
