Introducing the BTP650 Bluetooth Patio Speaker Pair, the perfect addition to your deck or patio. These sleek and modern speakers are designed to withstand all weather conditions with an IP54 rating and are constructed with a water-resistant treated paper woofer and a 1" silk dome tweeter. With a power handling of 150W, you can enjoy powerful sound no matter the occasion.
The speakers feature Bluetooth Version 5.0 and are compatible with A2DP Standard, making it easy to connect to any Bluetooth-enabled device. The powder-coated rust-resistant aluminum grille and gold-plated spring-loaded binding posts add to the durability of the speakers, while the composite resin low resonator cabinet provides clear and crisp sound.
The set includes one main speaker and one pairing speaker, and comes with a full-motion bracket for easy installation. The power supply length is 3' 5" from plug to transformer and 15' 5" from transformer to speaker. The speakers are available in black or white and come with a 1-year warranty. Sold as a pair.
Helpful tips:
1) Determine the ideal location where the Patio Speakers are not exposed directly to the elements. Note: speakers typically should be placed between 8 to 12 feet apart for proper stereo separation.
2) The Master Patio Speaker needs to be located near an AC outlet where you can connect the Power Supply to the Master Speaker in order provide the electrical current needed for the Internal Stereo Power Amplifier and Bluetooth Receiver.
3) The Pairing speaker must be connected to the Master Speaker with the 10-foot Speaker Cable that is supplied with the kit. The length of the speaker cable can be cut down for an exact fit but should not be extended beyond 30 feet

What’s is the distance my phone can get from the speaker and keep the Bluetooth connection?
Customer Service • 10/26/2021, 2:26:38 PM
Hi Peter:
The latest OSD-BTP-650 has the new Bluetooth V5.0 Chip. Which means it has a couple of unique benefits, including the ability to sync up with two devices. This is according to Android Central regarding new speed and bandwidth:
Faster, stronger, and better
The most significant benefits of Bluetooth 5 are faster speeds and more range. And we mean a lot faster and further.
Bluetooth 5 has a maximum of four times the range, eight times the bandwidth, and twice the speed. Just not all of it at the same time.
Specifically, devices get to "choose" between faster speeds or more range. For example, a pair of headphones primarily designed for music playback might choose to take advantage of the double throughput speeds, while a device like a Bluetooth tracker tag would benefit from more range.
Bluetooth 5 can transmit data at 2 Mbps, while Bluetooth 4.2 has a maximum of 1 Mbps. In addition, Bluetooth 5 can communicate with another device up to 800 feet (240 meters) away, while Bluetooth 4.2 was limited to a distance of 200 feet (60 meters).
Remember, these are line-of-sight maximums, meaning anything in the way can and will affect the signal. Still, those are some impressive improvements. These improvements also apply to BLE, which means Internet of Things devices can have a better signal and still save power.
Note: most new Smartphones now feature the new Bluetooth V5.0 chip. I believe iPhone after iPhone 10 all features the chip. So check what Bluetooth Version your Bluetooth enabled device has internally.

Would the power to these speakers need to be switched on every time?
Customer Service • 11/09/2021, 4:33:56 PM
Hi Mike:
There is an On/Off switch on the back of the Primary Patio Speaker that you typically leave on especially if they are not easily accessiable. We have recommended adding a Smart Outdoor plug that is app controlled and you can turn the unit on off with your phone. Check this out, it just one of many choices; https://www.amazon.com/Etekcity-Outdoor-Remote-Control-Outlet/dp/B07JB5TQSG/ref=sr_1_14

Would I be able to join two pairs of these speakers together and make use them through one blue tooth connection?
Customer Service • 07/06/2022, 12:26:13 PM
Yes, as long as you are using an Android device. Apple will not pair and play two non-apple products together. It will allow you to sync up both pairs but only play one at a time. The BTP650 is Bluetooth Version 5.0 like most smartphones.

Hello, can you pair more than 2 speakers to a bluetooth device, or is 2 the max? Thank you
Customer Service • 08/22/2022, 8:36:01 PM
This is a stereo Bluetooth kit with a true stereo right and left channel speaker. Most of the newer smartphones (with BT Version 5.0) will connect to two different Bluetooth Receivers, one Bluetooth Receiver is found in each of the BTP-650 kits. But you can only use an Android smartphone to sync with two kits and play at the same time. Apple will sync with two of the BTP650 Kits but will only play one or the other and not both at once. It will only sync up with two Apple branded products and play together. Like two pair of Airpods.

The BTP650 I can simply hang outside and connect my iPhone to it to play my music? Thanks
Customer Service • 08/22/2022, 8:48:55 PM
Yes, you sync up your iPhone to the Bluetooth Receiver found in the Master Rock of the kit (the rock connected to the power supply). And select your source on your phone.
