Introducing the BTP650 Wireless BT Patio Speaker Pair, the perfect addition to your deck or patio. These sleek and modern speakers are designed to withstand all weather conditions with an IP54 rating and are constructed with a water-resistant treated paper woofer and a 1" silk dome tweeter. With a power handling of 150W, you can enjoy powerful sound no matter the occasion.

The speakers feature Wireless BT Version 5.0 and are compatible with A2DP Standard, making it easy to connect to any Wireless BT-enabled device. The powder-coated rust-resistant aluminum grille and gold-plated spring-loaded binding posts add to the durability of the speakers, while the composite resin low resonator cabinet provides clear and crisp sound.

The set includes one main speaker and one pairing speaker, and comes with a full-motion bracket for easy installation. The power supply length is 3' 5" from plug to transformer and 15' 5" from transformer to speaker. The speakers are available in black or white and come with a 1-year warranty. Sold as a pair.

    Helpful tips:
    1) Determine the ideal location where the Patio Speakers are not exposed directly to the elements. Note: speakers typically should be placed between 8 to 12 feet apart for proper stereo separation.
    2) The Master Patio Speaker needs to be located near an AC outlet where you can connect the Power Supply to the Master Speaker in order provide the electrical current needed for the Internal Stereo Power Amplifier and Wireless BT Receiver.
    3) The Pairing speaker must be connected to the Master Speaker with the 10-foot Speaker Cable that is supplied with the kit. The length of the speaker cable can be cut down for an exact fit but should not be extended beyond 30 feet

Gina • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM This is probably a really dumb question but I know nothing about speakers and I'm trying to buy some for my husband. Is there some kind of receiver, wireless router or amp that these speakers need to connect to? I want to just have a pair of outdoor speakers that plug into an outlet, are connected together via speaker wire, and can play music I select from my iPhone. Is this possible with these?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Gina, That is exactly what these speakers are. No amplifier or transmitter required. You simply link up to your iPhone via Bluetooth and you are set to play. Just as you need, the master speaker plugs into an outlet and also powers the satellite speaker via speaker wire. We have these available in rock as well. Hope that helps! Thanks. BM 2664
Jeff • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I've purchased a pair of OSD BTP-650 outdoor speakers to listen to music out on my deck near the pool using my Motorola Droid Maxx (Kitkat 4.4 OS). The one small problem I'm having is that the volume can't seem to be controlled from my phone for these speakers normally. No matter where I set the bluetooth or audio volume from the phone, volume from the BTP-650's are at the loudest setting. As I don't have this type of problem using bluetooth speakers for my car or headphones (volume can be controlled from the phone or from the target), I'm not sure if the speaker set is perhaps using an earlier bluetooth protocol which isn't A2DP, or maybe it's a different version which is not supported in current devices. Anyway, is there any type of accessory or add-on that can be used in conjunction with the BTP-650 to independently control volume, as exists for wired pairs (not bluetooth) of speakers? I have found a volume hack app which can intercept my signal and attenuate it before it reaches the speaker, but it's awkward compared to what a regular consumer would expect. Any suggestions would be great. Even better (but doubtful, I know) would be if OSD had an android app for volume to patch the problem. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello Jeff, We have demo’d these several times and the volume control from a Galaxy 3 works with the speakers perfectly. This is either a case of a defective pair of BTP650’s or some unusual incompatibility with the Droid. Our product is not only A2DP but also AptX (the latest upgrade to A2DP) so it is not due to our using old technology, our technology is more current than A2DP. DT 2698
Mike • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM Are these speakers Stereo?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Mike, Yes. The set includes a master speaker and satellite speaker which together produce stereo sound. BM 2719
KP • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM im running a Power PC G5 mac 10.4.11 with iTunes 9 I want to be able to send the music wirelessly to outdoor/patio speakers. Are these speakers compatable? can I select the outdoor speakers only or have both indoor & outdoor going?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hello KP, You can run any Bluetooth enabled device to these speakers, but only one pair of speakers can link to the device at a give time. So you can connect your iPod, iPhone, iPad or Mac as long as they have Bluetooth.
Scott • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I was almost in love with the speakers when I noticed that I have to power cycle them everytime to repair. For example, I paired my iPhone with therm after installation without an issue, but then I leave the house, return and can't re-pair without turning the speakers off and back on again. My phone still retains the device information, but can't connect. I've tried this with multiple iPhones and an Android phone as well, but have the same issue in every situation. Any advice? Is this expected? It's a real pain to have to get a chair and power cycle the speakers everytime I want to use them.
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Scott, It could possibly be a defective speaker, but I'm not sure if that's normal or not. I believe you should be able to leave out of range and return to automatically be reconnected. Where did you purchase them through?
