Introducing the BTP650 Bluetooth Patio Speaker Pair, the perfect addition to your deck or patio. These sleek and modern speakers are designed to withstand all weather conditions with an IP54 rating and are constructed with a water-resistant treated paper woofer and a 1" silk dome tweeter. With a power handling of 150W, you can enjoy powerful sound no matter the occasion.
The speakers feature Bluetooth Version 5.0 and are compatible with A2DP Standard, making it easy to connect to any Bluetooth-enabled device. The powder-coated rust-resistant aluminum grille and gold-plated spring-loaded binding posts add to the durability of the speakers, while the composite resin low resonator cabinet provides clear and crisp sound.
The set includes one main speaker and one pairing speaker, and comes with a full-motion bracket for easy installation. The power supply length is 3' 5" from plug to transformer and 15' 5" from transformer to speaker. The speakers are available in black or white and come with a 1-year warranty. Sold as a pair.
Helpful tips:
1) Determine the ideal location where the Patio Speakers are not exposed directly to the elements. Note: speakers typically should be placed between 8 to 12 feet apart for proper stereo separation.
2) The Master Patio Speaker needs to be located near an AC outlet where you can connect the Power Supply to the Master Speaker in order provide the electrical current needed for the Internal Stereo Power Amplifier and Bluetooth Receiver.
3) The Pairing speaker must be connected to the Master Speaker with the 10-foot Speaker Cable that is supplied with the kit. The length of the speaker cable can be cut down for an exact fit but should not be extended beyond 30 feet

Can you change the pairing name and / or code? I need two sets with different codes so renters can only connect to one pair.

Hi Arron,
I don't believe this can be modified unless your device has the ability to rename it.

I want to pair these speakers to my TV using the Avantree Bluetooth Transmitter. It says connects to BT 3.0 and A2DP but it also asks about the CODEC (Audio codec: aptX-LL, aptX, SBC, FastStream) Are these speakers compatible?

Hi Tara,
I don't believe so. These work with smartphones and tablets. I have heard some success with computers and smart TV's but not transmitter devices.

Are these stereo speakers or just mono (same signal piped to both speakers)? Since I do not see the word 'stereo' anywhere in the description or the owner manual I assume they are mono.

Hello,
These speakers receive a stereo signal via Bluetooth and put out a stereo signal as well!

How do these compare to Sound Appeal's Bluetooth 6.50" Indoor/Outdoor Weatherproof wireless Patio Speakers? power, response, other technical specs and sound quality
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi David,
From what I could find on the speakers, our BTP650's have a better Frequency response and sensitivity rating. The wattage seems to be about the same.

Is there a way to connect to a TV.
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Thomas:
Currently, unless your TV is a Bluetooth Enabled device this will not sync up with the Speakers. We have spoken with our engineers about adding signal level input as an option to the speakers so it would have right and left analog input you could connect to the TV the old fashion way, hardwired. We did have client that wanted to connect to the TV directly and then have the option to switch to Bluetooth to use one of their BlueTooth enabled device.
Sorry about that for now, stay tuned...
