Each speaker uses an 8" fiberglass woofer with a butyl rubber surround and a 1" pivoting titanium dome tweeter. The fiberglass cone keeps bass deep and controlled, the rubber surround adds excursion and long life, and the pivoting tweeter can be aimed toward the listening area for detailed highs from anywhere in the ceiling.
Frequency response is 35Hz - 20kHz, sensitivity is 88 dB and power handling is rated at 100W. At 8 ohms, the ACE840 works with standard stereo amplifiers, AV receivers and multi-zone systems. Gold-plated 5-way binding posts give a secure, corrosion-resistant connection.
