So I am looking at a 7.2 setup with speakers from OSD -- I have already got the three center speakers for the front. Expect to get 4 back in-ceiling speakers for back/surround. Given this is out of stock, what amp do you recommend? I'd like one with a second zone for audio AND for HDMI if at all possible ... Ideas? there are a lot to choose from!
1 Answer
Hi Anthony: I am partial to ONKYO since they were one of the first to be all in on DOLBY ATMOS (and now DTS:X). The TX-NR-575 is the closest to the Yamaha with second zone out for High or Pre amp level plus HDMI in/out. For your Rear Surround and effects speakers would recommend our ACE670 Angled speakers for both the rear and DOLBY ATMOS speakers so a 5.1.2 system. The angled speaker provides more mounting options. It is all about aiming the tweeter to your optimum viewing/listening area. We can help you with the ONKYO Receiver just needed to contact our customer service directly. TL/4713

Does the RX V377 receiver have dual voltage selector (110V for US and 220V for Europe)? None of the specs on the internet have that information.
1 Answer
Dear Ron: If you checkout the Owners Manual it shows a unit with a hardwired power cord. This is the 110V version which is what we have access to here in Southern California. The manual notes there is a Taiwan and General version that have removable AC cord that are Multi Voltage. You might want to contact Yamaha and see if one of these two versions are available to you where you are. I am assuming you want to buy it so you can use it while stationed in Europe and then be able to bring it home to the US when you return. Good Luck TL/3125
