RS680 Ultra Sound 6.5" Rock Speakers Pair (HF12)

I had my electrician install four of these speakers (in grey) yesterday. They were installed around a 20 by 44 foot rectangular pool in a rather large backyard. We hooked them up to a Pioneer 818 receiver. I'm no audiophile, but the system sounds great! For the price, these are great - no need to spend more money! - Brian

I purchased a set of these speakers last year and had two full seasons to rate them. First I had a 100w per channel receiver pushing them and they sound very good. I upgraded to a 150w per channel receiver and they sound even better! Don't skip on the power I hooked up a 100w sub and it knocked my socks off. What a great sound I have on my patio and backyard. When we have parties on the patio my guests are impressed with the sound quality. Believe the reviews, these speakers are impressive. We had a very cold and snowy winter last year and there were no problems once spring came. The speakers "Rocked"! - Joe

Got these for Father's Day. Installed at a cottage lakeside - about 25 feet apart. They sound amazing - better than home speakers. I cannot believe that these are only $100 per pair. They are very efficient as well - and produce very clean sound at a distance. You can buy 12 gauge landscaping burial cable at Lowes - which is great speaker wire. I'll be back to OSD - VERY IMPRESSED !! - Todd

I just got mine in the mail and plugged them into my indoor stereo (it's raining outside, so I have to wait to install them permanently) and the quality is AMAZING. I have indoor speakers that cost three to five times more than these that don't match them in quality. I would have bought the HF14s but they were too big for my flower beds. The rock speakers I bought (HF12) were relatively inexpensive ($119 for 2) but the sound quality is exceptional for the price. I bought a pair of speakers from outdoor speaker depot. They was $119 for both didnt remember an option on shipping I want even sure what it was untill I paid then it appeard. But seem very fair, Not some blown up cost. around $30 for both. they arrived within two weeks and was box twice. I mean awesom protection there. I hooked them up expecting ok sound for two speakers I paid $150 and i was amazed. they have 175 watts each and sound perfect to me. I hooked them up to an amp and that is connected to the computer where all my music was loaded into mp3s about 6500 songs and again was worried about cranking it up afraid the sound would go to poop. But did go up to 75% now I have some old neighbors. and it was great. sounded like a concert. clear. I have an 30 ft by 20 ft patio and I can hear it fine every where. the rain no problem. I purchased two pairs of your HF12 (RS620) Ultra 175w for my backyard after a lot of research. Let me tell you they are great! I had my wife's 40th birthday party in the yard and people could not stop talking about the rock speakers! I hooked it up to a Pioneer car radio with a marine cover that is over by my barbeque island. I ran 16g low voltage light wiring through my slope for speaker wire (buried). I can tell for the price and the quality of these speakers, there is no competition! Two of my friends have already ordered now. Thank you and your staff! Redlands, CA - Tony

I've had these speakers about a month and I am very pleased with them. They sound great. I really didn't expect sound this good. Connected with 100 feet of 14 gauge 4 conductor direct burial cable and the AquaBlue wire nuts. They were extremely easy to set up.(except for digging the trench) I had my annual Tiki party and these speakers blew everyone away. They do not disappoint. The 5 year warranty is a big plus. - Smitty

Excellent service. I purchased a pair of AW650 patio speakers first. They have an awsome sound. a couple of weeka later I purchased a pair of HF12 rock speakers. The sound and quality of both types of speakers is unbelievable, especially for the price. The delivery speed was excellent. I placed my orders on Monday and the speakers arrived the following day. I purchased these speakers over two years ago and they are still going strong. Hidden in my landscaping these speakers work greate for lazy days working in the yard or cranked up for my annual labor day party. No problems handling the Western PA weather either. - Jeff

Installed 4 HF12 rock speakers around the pool last night. WOW!!!!!!! The distance between the 2 pair of speakers is 60 feet in length, 35 feet in width. They fill the entire area with tremendous, clear sound. The bass response is better than expected, crystal clear highs and mids. I almost spent a fortune on rockoustics after hearing them at a freinds pool, basically the same size area as mine. I would put these HF12's up against them any day, and at 1/4 the cost, need I say more. Thank you for great product at a great price. Can't wait to crank it up this weekend! - Bill

Just as everyone says these speakers will amaze you everytime and for any type of music ,Its amazing no matter how far you separate them they still image quite well and pump out some nice bass Just be sure you hook them in sequence correctly or the bass response will be flat when you stand between them. - Michale
