nina smith • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I am going to put these speakers outside without any covering. Will rain damage them?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
HI Nina: Checkout the AP525 or AP650 which have a higher rating for exposure to the elements and also feature a unique two way mounting bracket. Like the AP520 these are sealed enclosure designs without a ported cabinet. The AP525 and AP650 features a Hybrid composite cabinet that will have a longer shelf life. Something you may need especially when it starts raining in Florida again. TL/4382
Luis • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM Im confused on the description of these speakers. Where it says impedance its states 8 ohm with a built in 70v transformer than states the taps available. So does it come with both or do you have to choose 8 ohm or 70v in drop menu? Id like to have both options on the speakers.
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
HI Luis: If you want both options you order the AP-520T and pay an extra $10.00. What T version has is a 5 position switch on the back featuring 8 ohm, and four 70V Tap options 4W, 8W, 16W or 30W. You connect the positive and negative leads to the corresponding positive and negative inputs on the back as well for both applications. You will also need to have a 70V amplifier to utilize the 70V taps options. Sorry for the confusion TL/4594
Luis Quispe Jr • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM Does the AP520 come with 8 ohm and the 70 volt together or one or the other only?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Luis: As I stated you can order the 8 ohm version and there is no rotary switch for 70V tap, just the stereo inputs for 8 ohm. On the AP520 T version (at a $10.00 premium) you have the same inputs but there is a rotary switch with five choices, 8 ohm, (4 each 70V options) 4W, 8W, 16W and 30W. Note 70V most come from a 70V amplifier. Then are a whole set of different rules to 70V versus 4/8 ohm. TL/4595
Brian Wilson • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM Does this include 2 speakers?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
HI Brad: Yes, they are shipped as a stereo pair. Two speakers in the box. Sold in pairs 1 = 1 pair They are available in White or Black. TL/4916
Jeremy Hostetler • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM Can I run one speaker wire to one speaker and then "daisy chain" another wire to the next speaker? I have to run a line out 100ft and don't want to have to run 2 lines.
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
HI Jeremy: Are you running 70V or 8 ohms? 70Volt, no problem since that is how they will be connected anyway, in parallel. 8 ohm will take some creativity depending on your Source/Amplifier. How many speakers are you planning to run in total? What is your choice for Amplifiers (70V or 8 ohms)? Please let me know so I can be more helpful. My contact email is tim@osdaudio.com. It would be nice to see images of your project as well. I would also suggest looking at the AP525 or even the AP650. Like the AP520 they also have 70V option. Also more bass and higher sensitivity. Let me know more... TL/5044
