This speaker would be awesome on my deck so I hope it would work for my application. I have a juke box that plays 45's and it's in the office of my home. I want to hook up an outside speaker to put on my deck so I can enjoy my "oldies" out there. I'm told speaker wire is very thin so to avoid drilling a hole through my house, could the speaker wire for this speaker be ran through the bottom of the window? This window is never opened so if the wire could get to the deck via the window, this would be the perfect setup! Please let me know ASAP - thanks!

Hi Bonnie, The speaker wire you need is our CL3-rated in-wall, outdoor direct burial cable 16/2 (16 gauge, two conductor). It is about 6mm in diameter and you need two if you’re connecting two speakers as stereo pairs. What is the output to your Juke Box? Can you let us know the make and model so we can do some research? You may need an additional amplifier as well. Another option is our WPA-650 wireless patio speakers where you would not need any wires connected between the inside and outside. You would, however, need a place to plug in the power supply that comes with the kit for the main outside speaker's wireless receiver and internal amplifier power. TL/MA

Excellent speaker
This is my second pair of fish speakers. My first pair lasted outside in the Florida sun and weather for over 7 years. They still sounded good but were weather worn which is why I replaced them. I have other outdoor speakers from and they have all be phenomenal. You can't get better sound and quality for the money! Very highly recommended!!!

Still working great!
We bought the fish for our pool deck more for the appearance. But it looks and sounds great, even after 6 years of outdoor exposure. Strong enough to overcome a pool full of kids without breaking a note. If you need an outside speaker, get this one.
ProsAttractive Design, Good Power Output, Easy To Setup, Great Sound Quality

Sounds awesome - and all ...
Sounds awesome - and all I'm using to drive my outdoor speakers is my computer and an "aiwa" bookshelf stereo...the only thing bad that I can say is they could have done a better job on the seam where the two sides of the mold come together.
